The Gobemouche of the marshes ( Muscicapa aquatica , Heuglin, 1864) is a bird of the family of the Muscicapidae .
Muscicapa aquatica has 4 subspecies:
- Muscicapa aquatica aquatica
- Muscicapa aquatica infulata
- Muscicapa aquatica lualabae
- Muscicapa aquatica grimwoodi
Statute and safeguarding
This species was classified by IUCN in category LLC (minor concern), because she is regarded as frequent on her surface of distribution.
