Goat-Beautiful-Air is a common French, located in the department of the Rhone delta and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure. Its inhabitants is called Boucains.
Geography
Goat-Beautiful-air is located between
Marseilles,
Gardanne and
Aix-en-Provence, the old man-village is installed at the top of a small hill (a “Goat” into of Provence). Since this small top, a vision of the chain of star and even of the Luberon is possible.
Goat Bel Air. Goat, (the Bel Air is recent), does not mean “small top” but derived from Latin “Buccum” who means “mouth” taken here in the direction of “passage”, “mouth”. Indeed Bouc Bel Air is to some extent the mouth of the country of Aix.
To bring to Port-de-Bouc “the port closer to the mouth”.
A Gallic Village
Goat-Beautiful-air is a village which resists the attacks of the supermarkets.
Indeed, it is found there that 2 shopping malls mageurs: that of the village and that of the Field of the Room.
One can find thus there, each year, at the time of
Christmas, when one enters the field of the Room, a luminous streamer with writing:
" The Gaulois village wishes you good festivals! ".
The hill climb
Each year, with
Easter, proceeds a hill climb. The departure is on D60, with 50m only red light of Goat-Beautiful-Air and the arrival is near the
Village (symbolically, the place where the Town hall is, the castle, etc; in top of the hill).
One finds, progressively race, increasingly powerful cars.
With each new category, the deputy
Richard Mallié (former mayor of Goat-Beautiful-Air) carries out the race in his car.
Average time the race is approximately 45 seconds.

Teaching
The village of Goat-Beautiful-Air is seen allotted a teaching, relatively important, which extends on several communes of which
Cabriès, Simiane and Callas.

One finds there also a college (the College Georges Brassens) which acceuil the many high ones and of which its recent separation of the pupils of Simiane (in 2004), which can thus profit from a new college and more close to them, a better quality of teaching for a college planned for 550 pupils allowed and who passes from 950 high before this separation to 650 pupils.
Nevertheless, one finds there a good quality of teaching and very good performances with the patent of the colleges.
