Goüin hotel
The hotel Goüin is a Hôtel 15th century located at Tours, vestige of Renaissance architecture of the city.
The first Gothic residence was transformed at the 16th century by Rene Gardette, resulting from a family of merchants of silk trade of Tours, in the style of the First Rebirth. It bears the name of Gouïn, a family of Breton banking rich person which bought the hotel in 1738.
During the Second world war, the building was seriously damaged since there remained only the frontage; fortunately, it was rebuilt with identical (the Hôtel of Beaune-Semblançay will not have this chance and will remain mutilated, amputee of all the body of building).
It shelters today the museum of the archaeological Société of Touraine.
