Renewable energies
Patrick Ollier presented, at the time of the debate of laws of orientation on energies in 2005, an amendment on the wind energies, known as " Ollier" amendment; , aiming at raising the floor of obligatory purchase by EDF of the electricity produced by the wind farms with more than 30 MW (against less than 12 MW previously), which caused raised shields on behalf of the associative mediums and of the defense organizations of the environment and promotion of the renewable energies. Vis-a-vis the generated mobilization, the amendment was finally withdrawn by the Senate.
Law SRU
- Mr. Ollier was also pointed out by its perseverance to amend the Loi SRU (urban solidarity and renewal) of December 2000, and in particular to amend the quota of 20% social housing imposed on the common Frenchwoman.
-
At the end of January 2006, the Loi SRU was softened by the National Assembly by the adoption of an amendment of Patrick Ollier and Gerard Hamel (appointed UMP, Eure-et-Loir), in first reading on the bearing bill national engagement for housing (Loi ENL). The Ollier-Hamel amendment made it possible to compare certain operations of social accession to the property social Housing. The Sénat had removed these measurements at the beginning of April 2006.

on May 30th, 2006, with the National Assembly, during the examination in second reading of the bearing bill national engagement for housing (ENL), Patrick Ollier again deposited an amendment against the quota of 20% social Housing imposed on 740 common S.
Presidency of the National Assembly
Elected official chair of the National Assembly to succeed Jean-Louis Debré and the day before the French presidential elections of 2007, Patrick Ollier profits from a “mandate of transition” a few months when it is not expected that the Parliament does not meet. Following the polemic concerning the privileges with life whose the presidents profit from assembly, namely, company car, office and secretariat, it quickly stated that it renonçait with these advantages, being given the particular context of its election.
Africa
-
Patrick Ollier is with the head of the group of friendship France- Libya of the Assemblée. It paid many visits in this country, sometimes on behalf of the Elysium or of the Quai of Orsay. It also paid visits in other Arab countries, like the Tunisia.
-
In the Business Clearstream 2, its name was quoted during the meeting of January 9th, 2004 between Dominique de Villepin, Philippe Rondot and Jean-Louis Gergorin at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Jean-Louis Gergorin had then evoked the “ excessive dealings ” of Patrick Ollier with Arab countries. The general Philippe Rondot would have deliberately hidden with the Minister for Defense that the name of joint sound had been mentioned. According to its testimony, it had received like consigns of Dominique de Villepin of “ anything to communicate to the ministry for Defense ”. However, it seems that its name did not appear in the faked listings of Clearstream. Patrick Ollier constituted civil part in this file.
Standpoint
Patrick Ollier often took preserving positions, even " réactionnaires" for some: signature of the petition anti PACS, opposition to the reform of IVG in 2000. He refused to recognize the March 19th, 1962 like " national Day of the memory and meditation to the memory of the civilian victims and soldiers of the War of Algeria and the combat of Morocco and of Tunisia ".
In 2005, he is opposed to the marriage of Camille, transsexual and Monica, transgenre (which is not defined in any sex). While at the same time the State Monica regarded as a man, and Camille like a woman, Patrick Ollier their refused the marriage because it masked according to him a militant homosexual union.
In June and July 2006, it militates for the Privatization of GDF and fusion with Suez.
