Gmax

Gmax is a Logiciel of modeling 3D published by Autodesk.

It is a simplified version of 3D Studio max distributed free but having basic only one format of specific file. Its interest is to be able to be supplemented by modules of conversion towards open plays PC . It then becomes possible to model scenes, objects, characters who will be included in these plays.

The modules of existing plays are provided with the plays:

It is the editor of the play which buys a global license of Gmax and sells the specific module with the play.

The installation of Gmax requires a recording and obtaining a software key to function. End 2005, Autodesk announced its intention to put an end to this distribution which he regarded as nonprofitable. Under the pressure of other editors the Gmax software remains distributed on the site TurboSquid .
