Gloubi-boulga

The gloubi-boulga is the preferred food of Casimir, the imaginary Dinosaure of the television program for children the Island with the children . It is acted in fact of a famous Gâteau as being inedible and that only the Casimirus adores.

Sometimes according to his mood, Casimir adds to these five major ingredients another ingredient (Cornichon, Whipped cream, Anchois…).

History of the gloubi-boulga

The gloubi-boulga finds its origins in the childhood of Christophe Izard, the creator of Casimir and the Island with the children . During the War, it was lodged by a Russian old woman which, to make it hold quiet, made him Touiller lengthily sugar and egg yolks in a salad bowl. It called this preparation of the “goguel-moguel”, a kind of Sabayon. With the Release, by discovering all that it had not been able to taste during its childhood, it invents a very nutritive dessert made up of chocolate grates, crushed bananas and jam of strawberries. The gloubi-boulga takes as a starting point the first dish for the name and the second for the receipt, slightly improved with the Casimirus sauce… with mustard and sausage of Toulouse raw but tepid!
