Glottis

The glottis is the segment of the Larynx, in lower part of the hall and with the top of the epiglottic cavity, which includes/understands both vocal Cords. In Articulatory phonetics, a its product on the level of the glottis is known as glottal (like the Glottal stop), just as a flow of air created by a depression or an overpressure between the closed glottis and part of the mouth (see Flux glottal ).
