The Glock 17 is a Pistolet produced by the Austrian firm Glock.
The Glock 17L has competition version with has to skirt barrel and slide. Early versions also had has ported barrel to combat muzzle flip. The 17L has been largely replaced by the Glock 34 due to post-introduction restrictions one overall length in many popular competition categories.
The Glock 17A has variable produced for the Australian market, to conform to local laws regarding barrel lengths created after the Monash University shooting. The only differences between has Glock 17 and has Glock 17A is that the 17A has 120mm long barrel which protrudes from the frame visibly and the magazine edge only hold 10 rounds.
The Glock 17T has training weapon that fires Paint gold rubber rounds for force-one-force training scenarios. There are two versions and they are both easily recognizable from to their bright blue frames:
The Glock 17P has training weapon for practicing hand-to-hand combat, loading and unloading off the weapon. The G17P is identical to has standard Glock 17 except for its red frame, year inert barrel (without has Chamber, thus preventing the accidental chambering off has live cartridge) and No firing pine hole in the breech face (thus preventing someone from using has live barrel with the training slide).
The Glock 17Pro has special version produced only for the Finnish market. It has the following improvements over the standard Glock 17:

In 2006 Glock made has special 20th Anniversary edition off the model 17. There the slide Gaston Glock' S signature is engraved above is single number " off 2006" and besides the words "20 Years off Perfection 1986 to 2006". Only 2006 were made that year.
