Globuline

A globuline indicates a Protéine belonging to one of the two types of serum proteins , the other being the Albumine. This generic name recovers a very mixed group families of proteins, bigger size and more water soluble than albumin.

One also differentiates them at the time of a electrophoresis of the serum proteins, where they migrate less than albumin. One can also subdivide them in four groups:

  • Alpha 1-globulines.
  • Alpha 2-globulines.
  • Bêtaglobulines.
  • Gammaglobulines (also called immunoglobulins).

Alpha 1-globulines

  • Antitrypsin

  • Antichimotrypsine
  • Lipoprotein (HDL)
  • acid Prothrombine
  • glycoprotéine
  • globuline binding the Thyroxine

Alpha 2-globulines

  • Céruloplasmine
  • Antithrombine III
  • Heptaglobine
  • Choline-estérase
  • Plasminogène
  • Macroglobulin
  • protein binding the Rétinol
  • protein binding the Vitamin D

Bêtaglobulines

  • Lipoprotéine (LDL)
  • Transferrine
  • Fibrinogène
  • globuline binding the sexual Stéroïde S
  • Transcolbalamine
  • protein C reactivates

Gammaglobulines (or immunoglobulins)

  • IgG

  • IgA
  • IgM
  • IgD
  • IgE
