A glire is a Mammifère Placentaire which belongs to the group of the Anagalides in the phylogenetic Classification. The glires gather the Lagomorphes and the Rongeurs. Their visible character of the most remarkable outside is the strong development of their Incisive s : they lose the first incisors upper and lower, the third lower incisors, the Canine S and the first Prémolaire S. the second incisors also disappear but in their place large second milk incisors push with continuous growth. Their Denture thus presents a great vacuum between these incisors and the seconds prémolaires : the Diastème.
