Glenn Woodward Davis (December 25th 1924; March 9th 2005) is a player of American football which gained the Heisman Trophy in 1946.

Biography

Glenn Davis is illustrated particularly at the time of its university career within the team of US Army. Between 1944 and 1946, its team records only one defeat for 27 victories. Davis registers 59 touchdowns during this period, and always holds record as regards races: in 1945, this running back records an average 11,5 yards gained by race. In 1946, it receives Heisman Trophy, crowning the best university player of the season. It carries out then its three years of service soldier, US Army obliges, before joining the Los Angeles Rams. Its professional path turns short; since 1952 it is constrained to put a term following a serious wound at it at the knee.
