Glastonbury is a city located in the Comté of Hartford, in the State of the Connecticut (the United States). According to the census of 2000, Glastonbury had a total population of 31.876 inhabitants.

According to the Office of the Census of the United States, surface of the east city of 135,4 km ², including 133,0 km ² of grounds and 2,4 km ² of water levels (either 1,76%).

According to the Census of 2000, there were 31.876 inhabitants, 12.257 households, and 8.984 families in the city. The Population density was of 239,6 hab/km ². There were 12.614 houses with a density of 94,8 maisons/km ². The ethnic decomposition of the population was: 93,10% white; 1,53% black; 0,15% Amerindian; 3,40% Asian S; 0,01% natives of the islands of the Peaceful ; 0,91% of the other races; 0,89% of two or more races. 2,51% of the population were Hispanique or Latino of any race.

The average household comprised 2,57 people and the average family had 3,06 people.
