Gland of Cowper

The glands of Cowper , located each side of the Urethra, on the Penis, secrete a transparent and thick liquid which has several functions. It is used at the same time for lubrication (just like the cyprine at the woman), but also to protect the Spermatozoïde S from the toxicity of the remainders of Urine in the urethral channel.

These glands were studied by William Cowper. They produce their liquid when the man is excited, but the exact moment varies according to the men. This secretion contains already spermatozoa, which explains why certain women can be pregnant at the time of Sexual relations not protected without same as the man has ejaculated. This liquid is also one of the main components of the Sperme.
