Glamorgan

The county of Glamorgan (in Welsh Morgannwg ) is an old county of the south of Wales, divided itself into several counties since the reform of administrative of 1974, whose capital was Cardiff.
It gave the new counties of: West Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan, South Glamorgan .
History
In the beginning the Morgannwg was a kingdom rested by a king Morgan , who was joined together with the kingdom of Gwent. It was after Gwent, the second kingdom invaded by the Normands victorious of the Saxons in XIè century.
