Glacier Axel Heiberg
The glacier Axel Heiberg () is a Glacier of 48 km length valley, going down from the Plateau the Antarctic until the Barrière of Ross between the Chaîne of Herbert and the Mont Gift Pedro Christophersen, in the Chaîne of the Queen Maud.
It was discovered in November 1911 by the captain Roald Amundsen who gave him the name of the Consul Axel Heiberg, Norwegian business man and scientific patron having contributed to many Norwegian polar forwardings.
