Gla (Γλα or Γλας) is a city mycénienne located in Béotie, on a flat calcareous small island, emerging from old the Lac Copaïs or Lac Kopaïs, now drained.
It is to 20 km in the east of Orchomène, 2 km in the south-east of the village of Kastron, approximately 2 km in the east of the main roads of Thèbes (Béotie) to the Thermopyles.
The old island, emerging from the farms, takes shape perfectly on satellite sight.
