The Glaïeul of the marshes ( Gladiolus palustris ) is a hardy perennial of the family of the Iridaceae.

Distribution
Wet meadows, clearings of the forests whose clay soil causes of strong contrast between the estival dryness and the water omnipresence in winter. The glaïeul of the marshes likes the light.It is present in rare zones in France, in particular in Top and the Low-Rhine, the Jura, Ain and Haute-Savoie.
