Gjallarhorn (group)

Gjallarhorn is a group made up of Finnish suédophones. The name comes from the horn éponyme of the God Heimdall in the Scandinavian Mythologie. The group was founded in 1994 in the suédophone part of Finland by Jenny Wilhelms, Christopher Öhman and Jacob Frankenhaeuser. Their music is a mixture of traditional sonorities of the countries of the Baltic and sonorities coming from the whole world, for example via the use of the Didgeridoo. In the same way, the words of the various musics are sung in Swedish, Finnois or in Icelandic.
