Giuseppe Meazza
Giuseppe ( Peppino ) Meazza (known as the Balilla ) was the largest Italian footballer of all times, attacker winger, was born the August 23rd 1910 with Milan and deceased with Rapallo the August 21st 1979, of 1m 69 per 73 kg. It has one of the most beautiful prize lists of a European footballer before the Second world war with Ugo Locatelli, only exceeded by Giovanni Ferrari. Its road crossed amongst other things with Inter that of another prestigious world champion, the Uruguyan Héctor Scarone during season 1931/32. Captain of the Squadra will azzura in 1938, it counts 53 national selections of 1932 to 1939, for 33 goals.
Its successive clubs were Ambrosiana, the Milan AC, the Juventus of Turin, Varèse, the Atalanta Bergamo and finally the Inter Milan. It disputed 476 matches of Italian championship of 1st series (408 with inter), scorant with 308 recoveries (including 287 for inter).
It involved it Inter into 1947/48, 1955/56, and 1957, and was sports correspondent.
Since its death, the stage San Siro in Milan bears its name.

The referee would have validated his irregular goal in rejoué match of quarterfinal against Spain, the only one of the meeting, under turbid conditions. This single goal will qualify Italy in semi-final of the world cup 1934, organized at it, with the time when the reign of Mussolini reaches its paroxysm.
