Giuseppe Bottai
Giuseppe Bottai (Rome, September 3rd 1895 - Rome, January 9th 1959) is a politician Italy N. He was governor of Rome, Minister for the Corporations and Minister for State education.
Biography
Giuseppe Bottai was born with Rome in 1895 from a family originating in Toscane. It passes its baccalaureat and is registered in Faculty of Law when the First World War bursts and it engages like volunteer.In 1919, at the end of the conflict, already active Bottai in the futuristic movement meets Benito Mussolini and collaborates in the creation of the Faisceaux of combat to Rome. In 1921, it diploma in right, it directs the Roman direction of It Popolo d' Italia and it is elected with the House of Commons.
It takes part in the Marche on Rome and with its group, it creates important disorders which are concluded by several deaths. In 1923, it creates the review Critica fascista . Of 1926 with 1929, he is under-secretary with the ministry for the corporations and he becomes minister of 1929 with 1932. He implements the chart of work and obtains the pulpit of right supporter of corporatism of the university Sapienza of Rome.
Of 1932 with 1935, it assumes the chairmanship of the National institute of the social welfare (the equivalent of our CPAM). In 1935, he is governor of Rome and in May 1936 he is for a few months governor of Addis Ababa. It returns to Italy where it is named Minister for state education, charges that it will leave in February 1943. It will be at the origin of two laws on the protection of the cultural goods remained into force until in 1999 and whose principles were maintained in the new laws.

Always opened with the dialog with the young intellectuals protestors, those found on the newspaper Primato a space of expression and debate. Bottai is recognized to have been in a certain manner an atypical fascist or a fascistic criticism as the historian Giordano Bruno Guerri defines it.
His/her son Bruno, diplomat, was Ambassadeur with London and near the Saint Seat and secretary at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Currently he is president of the Institut Dante Alighieri.
