Giurgeni
Giurgeni is a locality of the Judeţ de Ialomiţa, in Munténie, Romania.
On the territory of the locality, with the locality Mânăstire Piua Pietrii to the terrible floods of 1970 existed the village. This one was on the ruins of the medieval city of Târgul de Floci (or Târgul de Lână, according to Nicolae Iorga), which is a probable place of origin of Michel Ier the Brave man, the other being Strehaia.
