Gironville
Gironville is a common French, located in the department of Seine-et-Marne and the area Île-de-France.

Localities and variations
A variation called Pilvernier is on the communes of Gironville and Mondreville. It was created near an old religious site. Three farms: plovers created fine 18th century by the Miger family, lord of Gironville. Saint-Pierre and the Future dates as for them from the 19th century.

Religious heritage
The village has a church probably dating from the 12th century, even if it is attested only at the 14th century. Of Romance style , it was increased at the 19th century and was restored in 2006. It shelters a bell of the 17th century and 3 tombs. It is classified historic building by decree of April 27th, 1908.
Economy
Village primarily agricultural round towards the culture of beet and cereals.
Famous characters
The common one had like lord Eustace Luillier, who was the lawyer in charge of the defense of Jacques Cœur and of which he married a downward Marie Cœur.One can also quote Mr. Miger, lieutenant of the guards of the door of the King, lord of Gironville whose tombstone is in the church.
Another known character: colonel Antoine Lagorsse who was the lord of the manor and the geôlier of the pope Pie VII under the First Empire.
