Girls of Wisdom
The congregation of the Filles of Wisdom is a founded religious congregation in 1703 by Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort with Marie-Louise Trichet, for hospital functions, and which will very quickly extend its activity to the teaching of the poor children.
The Girls of Wisdom, the Company of Marie, the Brothers of Saint Gabriel, the Oblate S of Wisdom and their associates form the Famille Montfortaine.
In 2005, the Girls of Wisdom count 2.000 sisters out of the five continents, including 680 in France, in 66 communities.
