Giresun (province)
The province of Giresun is one of the 81 Province S (in Turkish: it , in the singular, and it in the plural) of the Turkey.
Its Turkish prefecture (: valiliği ) is in the éponyme city Giresun.
Geography
Its surface is of 6.934 km ².
Population
With the census of 2000, the province was populated approximately 523.819 inhabitants, that is to say a Population density of approximately 112 hab. /km ².

The province is managed by a Turkish prefect (: vali )

The province is divided into 10 Turkish districts (: ilçe , in the singular): Alucra, Bulancak, Çamoluk, Çanakçı, Dereli, Doğankent, Espiye, Eynesil, Giresun, Görele, Güce, Keşap, Piraziz, Şebinkarahisar, Tirebolu and Yağlıdere.
