Girdled plover
The Pluvier girdled ( Erythrogonys cinctus ) is a close relative of the Vanneau X, only species of the kind Erythrogonys .
Description
It is a bird of intermediate size (length 17 to 20 cm; weight 40 to 55 G). The top of the head and the nape of the neck are black. The chest and the front of the neck are white. The back is maroon, the belly and the lower face of the tail white. The nozzle is red just as the upper part of the legs.
Distribution and habitat
