Giraudy
The famous company of advertizing display, Giraudy , was created in 1911. Jean Giraudy, the son of the founder, took control in 1927 of it until it withdraws from the businesses in 1983 after having sold his company in Financière N°1 (joint-venture between Europe 1 & Publicis). Giraudy was for a long time a major actor of the landscape of the media in France. The company became Viacom Outdoor France after its repurchase by American Viacom in June 2000. Since January 2007, the company is known under the name of CBS Outdoor following the scission of the group Viacom.
