At the end of this stay, Paisiello returned to Italy while passing by Vienna where it will leave twelve symphonies and an opera, It D Teodoro . Of return to Naples, he was the choirmaster of Ferdinand IV. The revolution of 1799 did not block its career since it was named musician of the nation.
At the time of the restoration, its former Masters did not take it again and there remained two years without occupation. Until Napoleon Bonaparte called it with its service. It remained there two years and half during which it reorganized, with the assistance of its pupil Vincenzo Lavigna, the private vault of the first consul.
