Giovanni Boccia Artieri

Giovanni Boccia Artieri is Sociologue and professor of sciences of the communications.

Born with Bologna in 1967, graduate of Political sciences, specialized in Sociology, it will continue its studies on the side of the communication and the media.

He is professor with the faculty of sociology of the Université of Urbin “Carlo Bo” where he directs a programme of higher learning in sciences of the communication. It is interested in the relations between the Médias of mass, in the identity, the company, the languages and the evolution of the media and the social forms.

One finds among his recent projects a research task on the media whose contents are created by its own public (like Wikipedia and YouTube).
