Giovanni Bernardo Carlone

Giovanni Bernardo Carlone (Genoa, 1584 - Milan, 1631) was a painter baroque Italy N pertaining to the school génoise. It resulted from a family of artists of origin Tessin oise (the son of the sculptor Taddeo Carlone and the brother of the painter Giovanni Battista Carlone).

Biography

It begins its training with the workshop of his Taddeo father and with the Sienan Pietro Sorri, present in Genoa between 1596 and 1598.

It leaves to study with Rome and Florence, with the workshop of Domenico Cresti ( It Passignano ).
