Giovanni Battista Piazzetta

Giovanni Battista Piazzetta or Gian Battista Piazzetta (Venice, February 13rd, 1683 - Venice, April 29th, 1754) is an Italian painter of the Venetian school.

Biography

After a first training with the workshop of his father Giacomo Piazzetta, sculptor and wood engraver, it passes, with the workshop of the painter Antonio Molinari in 1697.
