Giorgino
Giorgino is a film French (1994) carried out by Laurent Boutonnat. This one wrote this drama as from the years 1970 and the whole of the musics produces composed some. This work makes it possible Mylène Farmer to make her beginnings in the cinema in the role of Catherine. The conditions of turning are particularly difficult because of the climatic conditions and the perfectionism of the realizer Laurent Boutonnat. The film was made in English language. Jeff Dahlgren, the main actor, was a American Guitariste, frequent guide of Mylène Farmer.
In spite of a consequent budget of 80 franc million and a strong promotional campaign in the media (press, television), Giorgino, left on October 5th, 1994, did not remain that four weeks with the poster and did not add up more than 60000 entries on the territory. The general public does not adhere to film because its length and of its too great blackness; the fans of Mylène Farmer have to them-even a mitigated opinion.
This resounding failure will deeply affect Laurent Boutonnat, which will not produce any more the clips of its MUSE Mylène Farmer during nearly ten years. It will repurchase all the rights of its film, which will be diffused only four times on Canal+ with the end of the year 1995. An exit in DVD is planned for on December 5th, 2007.
