Gio Flamminio
Gio Flamminio (born the February 3rd 1984 with Prince Albert, Saskatchewan with the Canada) is a professional player of Hockey italo-canadien.
Career of player
Formed in Mintos of Prince Albert, he is elected better defender and elected official among the first team of the selection of stars of the league Midget “AAA” of the Saskatchewan in 2001-2002. In 2001, it joined the Klippers de Kindersley in SJHL. It gains the title and is elected among the selection of the recruits of the season. The following year, he is elected in the first team of stars of the league. After one season spent in NCAA, it returns to the Klippers de Kindersley where it is named once again in the first team of stars. It gains also the trophy Tim Horton rewarding the best defender for the league. He tackles his professional path in 2005. He signs for the Sea Wolves of the Mississippi in ECHL but the hurricane Katrina prevents the team from taking part in the championship. It takes part in October 2005 in the camp of drive of the Thunder de Stockton in ECHL in vain and joined the Blazers of Oklahoma City in LCH. It is selected with the northern conference to take part in the match of the stars 2006. In September 2006, it takes part in the camp of drive of the Pirates of Portland cement in LAH. At the time of the season 2007-2008, he plays his third season with the Blazers of Oklahoma City. In 2007, the Sea Wolves of the Mississippi take again their activities what enables him to play its first matches in ECHL.
