Gimnée
Gimnée (as a Walloon Djimnêye ) is a section of the common Belgian of Doische located in Walloon region in the Province of Namur.
It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.
Felix Rousseau was struck by the step of a native of Gimnée, François Robert, the first French republican. He allots the fact that he preceded the other French in the setting in front of the republican idea with nature by the State inhabitant of Li2ege which, contrary to the other Walloon and Flemish principalities, not having a dynasty at its head, since its chief was an ecclesiastic, could seize the unit of the body politic to some extent more democratically or rationally.
