Gilles d\' Ettore

Gilles d' Ettore is a Politician French born on May 23rd, 1968 in Agde, member of the Union for a popular movement (UMP). Mayor of Agde since 2001, it chairs the Communauté of agglomeration Herault the Mediterranean since his in January 2003 creation. He is appointed 7th district of Herault since 2007.

Career

Graduate of the Faculty of Law of Montpellier, he is police officer in the General informations with Lyon of 1992 with 2000.

In March 2001, he is elected mayor of Agde, common balneal of the Herault (in particular including the Cape of Agde), and is re-elected in December 2002.

President of the the Community of communes of the countries of Agde in 2002, it chairs the news Communauté of agglomeration Herault the Mediterranean since his creation, on January 1st 2003.

Candidate under the UMP label with the legislative elections of 2007 in the Seventh district of Herault, it is elected on June 17th, 2007 with 52,68% of the voices to the second turn.
