Gilles Sanders is an old runner cyclist French, born the August 9th 1964 with Narbonne.

It will become professional in 1987 and until in 1990 will remain it. It will gain no victory there. Then, it will become in 1993 and 1995 racing cyclist professional VTT.

Anecdote

  • Gilles Sanders is the only runner French to have to take part in championships of the world in three different disciplines: the road, the VTT and cyclo-cross.
  • During the Rock of Azure 1991, Gilles Sanders , then second, realizes that the man of head is mistaken in course, stops, calls it so that this one makes half-turn and is made beat with the sprint.
