Gilles Pinel

Gilles Pinel is a pioneer of the News-France. Cofounder of the family Pinel, it left a large heritage in the area of Quebec.

Biography

Gilles Pinel is the second wire of Nicolas Pinel (originating in La Rochelle) and of Madeleine Maraud.

With died of his father, it continues to help his mother and her brothers Pierre and Isaac (the junior) on the ground of Gaudarville. But, as of on November 29th, 1656, it acquires a dwelling located between Sillery and the course Rouge. July 28th, 1657, Gilles Pinel resells in Guillaume Routhier, the dwelling located between Sillery and the course Rouge.

With the census of 1681, it lives in Dombourg (Neuville).

He dies in Neuville where he is buried on January 15th 1700. His wife is buried at the same place on December 14th of the same year.
