Gilles Moretton

Gilles Moretton , born the February 10th 1958 with Lyon, is a former player of Tennis French (1 meter 90) and is currently president of ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne and managing director of Sportfive.

Biography

Gilles Moretton makes a career of professional tennis player first of all. Its best classification with ATP was 80e into simple (in January 1982) and 55e in double (in January 1984).

It stops its career in 1984 and works during two years for Wilson and Philip Morris as a person in charge of promotion.

It creates the tournament ATP of Tennis of Lyon in 1985. It founds then the Gilles Moretton Organization (GMO) which specializes in the organization of sports events.

GMO is elected by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne in 1995 to seek sponsors with the club. Gilles Moretton is named president of the directory of Adecco ASVEL Basket in 2001.

Since it directs ASVEL, the club gained the title of champion of France in 2002.

In December 2004, Gilles Moretton, creates Gones & Sports which includes/understands Occade Sport and Adecco-Asvel .

Gilles Moretton was delegated general director of Sportfive until March 2007.
