Gilles Larrain
Gilles Larrain , initially painter, then pioneer of the Kinetic art, is currently Photographe New Yorkean, author of known posters of Miles Davis, Sting and Billy Joel. He also collaborated in magazines like Photo or Géo .
He photographed also John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Jerry Rubin and El Salvador Dalí, and created covers of album for Sting, Miles Davis and Billy Joel.
An exposure of its works took place in Seville from September 19th to October 22nd, 2006.
Characteristic
Gilles Larrain always wanted to control the totality of the photographic chain, of the release to the darkroom , it wrote. Because of the work which it carried out during pulling, there do not exist two positive of him rigorously identical. He even declared a day that its negative did not contain work in itself, but just a raw material to carry it out .
