Gilles-Antoine Langlois

Gilles-Antoine Langlois is a historian and a French town planner, born in 1954 in Paris. It supported a thesis of doctorate in history (Sorbonne, 1990) and a thesis of doctorate in town planning and installation (Institut of Town planning of Paris, 1999). It is part-time lecturer to the Université Paris XII.
Its work concerns the urban history of Paris and the Paris region, and on that of the Louisiana, since the colonial period of the News-France, and more generally on the history of the Urbanisme and installation. It realized in 2003 a bilingual Internet site for the ministry for the Culture: www.louisiane.culture.fr (French) and www.louisiana.culture.fr (English), and publish articles in collective works, scientific magazines, and encyclopedias, in France and in the United States.
He is also the author of three collections of Poésie.
