Gilded Cétoine

The cétoine gilded ( Cetonia aurata ) is a Insecte Coléoptère of Cetoniidae. Its larva is sometimes confused with that of the Cockchafer. One can however note differences visible with the naked eye: larvae of cétoine one a small head, short legs, and a broad end of abdomen, whereas the larvae of Cockchafer have a famous person, long legs and a rather fine end of abdomen. Moreover, their colors differ. It is important to distinguish these 2 larvae because the larvae of Hanneton S are often destroyed by the man because they nourish roots and are thus " nuisibles" with the cultures, whereas the larvae of Cétoine nourish vegetation wastes and thus do not pose a problem. One finds some much in the heaps of compost.
