Gilberto Simoni
Gilberto Simoni (born the August 25th 1971 in Palù di Giovo, in the province of Thirty) is an Italian cyclist. Climbing, it gained twice the Turn of Italy (Giro) and finished once second and four times third.

Career in the VTT
On recommendation of its sponsor, Scott (the United States), Simoni started to take part in races marathon of VTT during the season 2006. It quickly collected impressive results by gaining the Italian national championship of VTT marathon.
