Gilberte Brossolette

Gilberte Brossolette , born Bruel , (December 27th 1905 with Paris, February 18th 2004 with Paris), wife of Pierre Brossolette, was member of the French Résistance, then Socialist senator of the department of the the Seine of December 1946 at June 1958.
She had married in 1926 Pierre Brossolette, normalien and had incorporated history. She supported it in her career of journalist.
Engaged in the Resistance during the Second world war.
Member of Parliament with peace, it sits at the provisional Consultative Assembly in 1945, then elected appointed with Constituent under the label of SFIO. After the adoption of the Constitution of the IV {{E}} Republic, it is elected sénatrice of the department of the the Seine in December 1946. She will be re-elected until June 1958. From 1946 to 1954, it is vice-president of the Council of the Republic (the old name of the Senate).
As from 1958 and until in 19, it is journalist with the radio, passing from the female emissions to the foreign politics.
