Gilbert Richard

Gilbert Richard , born the December 14th 1928 with Chépy (Somme), under the name of Gilbert Hecquet (wire of Albert Hecquet and Marie-Adelaide Richard) is a producer and TV host, which was famous in the years being spread out between 1960 and 1975.

Career

A first chance was offered to him to the 17 years age by Mustapha Amar, director of the famous circus bearing his name. Under its capital-giant, it will never become youngest Mr Loyal tracks some, being used as " to make-valoir" with the large Italian clowns the Dario-Bario (parents of the 3 Bario, become famous thereafter thanks to television).

In the beginning of the Years 1950, accompanied by the explorer Paul Berthollet, Gilbert Richard took part (at least) in 700 school conferences on the protection of the fauna and the Flore placed under the aegis of the State education, and in a completely different kind, it organized the rounds " New-Orleans Parade" sponsored by the Hot Club of France, producing several jazzmen American international reputation.

In 1958, it will imagine an advertizing operation of a style innovating at the request of the brothers Leroux who, taking into account the results, will obtain the quasi-monopoly of the sale of chicorey in France.

Jean Nohain will discover it in 1961 at the time of the launching of the Black Chaussettes (group of Eddy Mitchell), on an initiative of Lucien Morisse, director artistic of Europe 1.

Later, it will produce and animate many television programs for Youth (1st and 2nd chain) with famous partners appointed such as… Henri Salvador, Claude François, Sheila, like on the SPOKE (approximately 2.000 emissions of 1961 with 1975). During its career, it will animate nearly 5.000 spectacles as well with Paris, as in province, as on the beaches.

In 1980, Maurice Caradet, Large Tax inspector, future first President of the company of the National Lottery and National Lotto, will entrust the production of televised pullings to him: National lotto, TAC-O-TAC, Sporting Lotto, Green Carpet, etc, a responsibility which it will successfully ensure until in 1992.

Return to 1971, year during which it had created the company “R3 Gilbert Richard” that it chaired until 1992, before putting a final term at its professional life. For the little story, like very undertaken collaborating with very important companies (National Lotto, the American group Mars, France 2, Peugeot… etc), its company was advised, by a and law firm which was not other than “Leibovici - Claude Sarkozy”

Gilbert Richard lives now with Cannes where it was withdrawn in 1994, after formerly successively having directed and having animated during 15 consecutive years of the Circuses of summer, initially for the childish press: Spirou , Conk , Tintin and, the last year, for large the hebdo of television Tele 7 Days at the time placed under the informed direction of Jean Diwo.
