Gilbert Melki
Gilbert Melki is an actor French born in 1958 with Paris. Nephew of the actor Claude Melki (" the Acrobat "), the Gilbert young person dreams to become actor. His/her father, antique dealer, send it in a school of cabinet work, but there remain only a few months there. At 20 years, it decides to be directed towards the comedy, and multiplies the courses of theater. Fearing not to be with the height, it however takes soon its distances with a medium which seems to him hostile, and leaves food during several years to Italy.
After a first appearance with the screen in 1992 in Betty, Gilbert Melki reaches notoriety in 1996 thanks to the Truth if I lie! of Thomas Gilou. It incarnates Patrick Abitbol, business man smooth talker there, a role which it includes in the continuation of this comedy with success in 2001. He also plays of the dramatic roles thereafter.
