Gilbert Mayor
Gilbert Mayor (born about 1890 - died towards end of the year 50), Philosopher, Nationalist Journalist and French.
He was very early allured by the ideas of Charles Maurras and the French Action. Near to the " gauche" maurrassienne (Georges Valois, Firmin Bacconnier, Jean Rivain) it contributed to the books of the Cercle Proudhon. It was one of the collaborators of the critical Revue of the ideas and the books founded in 1908 by Jean Rivain and Eugene Marsan.
After having broken with Maurras, it became one of the most enthusiastic disciples of Henri Bergson to which it devoted several studies. Its publications indicate its implication in the Régime of Vichy.
