Gilbert Dupuis (painter)
Gilbert Dupuis (March 9th 1887 with Paris - October 31st 1954 with Paris) is a painter French.
Higher learning in Polytechnicum of Zurich. Adjudant with the 29th Battalion of Hunters to feet, it is wounded with the combat with the first Bataille of the Marne the September 7th 1914. Military Cross.
Gilbert marries Adrienne Siou, girl of French industrialists established in Russia. Gilbert, painter himself, takes the direction of the Académie Julian which belongs to his/her widowed aunt Amélie Beaury-Saurel of Rodolphe Julian.
The Dupuis family lives 36 avenue de Neuilly with Neuilly, where Gilbert established his workshop of painting. Gilbert is also actor, author of theater and musician. He dies of a cancer generalized on October 31st, 1954 in Paris.
