Gilbert Brownstone

Gilbert Brownstone has been a Galeriste, director of museums, art lover and American writer , installed in France for its 17 years.

Studies

He makes Science-Po, then enters being studied high of the Sorbonne and follows courses of history of Article.

Career

In 1967, it works with the museum of modern art of Paris, in the section Contemporary art. In 1974, it is named director of the museum Picasso with Antibes, then preserving of the Musée of Israel to Jerusalem. It creates its own gallery with Paris where it supports in particular art known as “minimal”.
