Gilbert Bossuyt

Gilbert Bossuyt is a Belgian politician (member of Sp.a), born with Lauwe the September 26th 1947.

After studies of right to the free University of Brussels, he becomes national secretary of the power station of the workers of the sector of the textile ABVV of 1971 with 1981. He is city council man of Menen since 1971, was mayor of the town of 1989 with 1994 and was re-elected for a new mandate in 2001. Gilbert Bossuyt was also appointed of 1981 with 1995 and member of the Flemish Parliament of 1981 with 2003. He is it again since 2004. Bossuyt is Minister for transport, public works and the energy of 2003 with 2004.
