Gilbert Baumet
Gilbert Baumet , born the February 5th 1943 with Pont-Saint-Esprit (Gard), is a French politician.
Biography
Mayor of Pont-Saint-Esprit since 1971, he was Secretary of State to the Trade and the Craft industry under the Gouvernement Pierre Bérégovoy.
Gilbert Baumet was president (PS) Conseil général of the Gard of 1979 with 1994.
Former senator (PS) of the Gard (1980-1993).
Former deputy (PS then MDR) of the 3rd district of the Gard of 1993 to 1997.
In 2000 it had already been quoted with 7 recoveries by the regional court of the accounts, it deferred its lawsuit for the sixth year, this time for the reason which it had changed lawyer!
