Biography
Macpherson grows in the district of Rosemont of Montreal. He studied with the Université McGill, where he contributed to the student newspaper, the McGill Daily . He began his journalistic career in the Années 1960 with the Canadian Presse, where he was, says he, often assigned with the covers of riots. He covered thereafter the Québécois policy with the Montreal Star , with CBC and The Gazette .He passed to the history to have found a name at the office of the Prime Minister for Quebec, the “Bunker”. Macpherson is as the first to propose as the currency of the I remember can have a British origin (“I remember… that born under the lily, I grow under the pink”). This assumption is generally rejected by the historians.

Macpherson sometimes was critical towards certain aspects of the Québécois Nationalisme. It often taxed non-Montréalais them not to be sophisticated enough. He says to share the opinion of Michel David on this subject.
Macpherson is the subject of serious threats on behalf of the ex- Felquiste Raymond Villeneuve and of sound Liberation movement main road of Quebec (MLNQ). The headings of Gift Macpherson are freely accessible in the daily newspaper Vigile.net .
